Who we are
Simon started Beyond Stretch because, over the years, he came to realize something important—our health is everything. His biggest passion? Living a joyful life with his family. And let’s be honest, staying healthy is the key to making sure we can spend quality time with the people we love for as long as possible.
Before Beyond Stretch, Simon launched Libby’s, a gluten-free bakery, to help us pay attention to what we put into our bodies. But he didn’t stop there. During a trip to America, Simon saw how stretching was making a massive difference in people’s lives, helping them feel better, move better, and live better. Inspired by this, he decided to bring the idea back home to London—specifically to Belsize Park, where he grew up and still lives with his family.
Here’s the funny thing: Simon used to hate stretching because he thought it was boring. So when he created Beyond Stretch, he knew he wanted to make it different. That’s why he added music, calming scents, and a vibe that turns stretching into something you’ll actually look forward to.
Along his journey, Simon also discovered the power of mindfulness and meditation, noticing how much they improved his daily life. Seeing the impact on his own well-being, he knew he wanted to bring this element into Beyond Stretch, offering a space where people can not only move better but also quiet the mind, reduce stress, and find balance.
To bring this vision to life, Simon invited Sara to design the classes. Sara is a stretch therapist and mindfulness and meditation teacher, originally from Hungary but trained around the world, including in Spain, China, Scotland, and England. She is also an artist, and her passion for movement, mindfulness, and connectedness is reflected in her visual artwork. Inspired by well-being and the mind-body connection, Sara has carefully crafted each class to help people move with ease, feel more present, and reconnect with themselves.
At Beyond Stretch, it’s all about helping you keep your body mobile, improving your range of movement, and making you feel amazing. Stretching and mindfulness are both proven to calm your nervous system, help you sleep better, and leave you in a more relaxed, peaceful state of mind.
Simon’s goal is simple: to help you feel your best so you can live your best life. Ready to stretch, breathe, and recharge? Let’s do this together!
